The Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 Emergency Medicine (SUEM) Symposium will take place from April 9 to 11, 2025, at the BMRI building, which is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences on the Tygerberg campus in Cape Town, South Africa. This prestigious event promises to unite emergency medicine leaders and practitioners, fostering invaluable discussions and the exchange of knowledge that will undoubtedly shape the future of healthcare in the region. ?

This symposium aims to create a platform for all emergency care personnel, from pre-hospital workers to physicians and nurses, to gather outside the hustle and bustle of our careers. This is an opportunity to network, collaborate, and debate relevant Emergency Medicine topics within one of Africa's premier medical research establishments, located in the city of Cape Town. ?
The symposium's theme is Emergency Care in Action, and we believe that this theme is much needed in South African emergency care at this time.
Key topics will include:
- Clinical Emergency Medicine
- Ethical Considerations in research and publication
- Health Professions Education

Venue
This year, the SUEM Symposium will be held in the BMRI building on Tygerberg Campus in Parow. The venue offers world-class conference facilities, modern architecture, and tranquil gardens, and it is surrounded by the biggest and most advanced TB research laboratories in Africa.
Registration
Cost is ZAR4000 (for the entire conference) and ZAR2000 (single day) and includes:
